I love how people are taking street races seriously these days by training and preparing for specific races. This is probably due to the emergence of the Red Hook Crit. I’ve said before how much I like the Red Hook Crit so I won’t bore you with that again. Prolly posted about some of the Italian racers training for the race coming up in Milan and linked to Francesco Rochella’s flickr with some amazing shots from the training session. Prolly put up a post with a link to The Daily article on the Red Hook Crit. It’s a good, short read if you’re not tired of all the coverage of the race. I, myself, am not. I love reading about it and seeing all the pictures. The idea of a track bike only, outlaw street race that is taken seriously by pros, messengers and street track bike riders/racers gets me so hyped! Check it out!
