Finally took the Cannon for a 10+ mile ride the other day! The bike rides great, just needs some minor tweaking of the front derailler and maybe a little bit shorter stem. I love the Cadence bar tape so far! This bike is going to take a while to get used to. I definitely feel safer on my track bike right now. It’s been a while since I’ve had a working bike with gears and brakes.
I got bartape for the roadbike finally and was able to tape the bars and clean the hoods yesterday before the race! Haven’t got a chance to ride it yet with the new tape, but I love the look of the new Cadence tape. My only suggestion would be longer/better finishing tape.
Just took the Cannon out for the first test ride. It rode really good, just needs some minor adjustments and a few new parts and it will be ready for a long ride! I’m going to have to get used to riding a bike with brakes and gears again.
Wouldn’t change a thing!
